The error is caused by Vanilla&rsquo;s caching – Smarty cannot access the cache folders, so it throws an error. It doesn&rsquo;t show up at first, only when Vanilla would start caching.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The permissions of the cache/Smarty/compile folder need to be set to 777. And everything else in the cache/ folder too. (just to be safe 😉 )</strong></p>
